Today was my best friend Stephanie's baby shower! In general it was a pretty good day, I went to church, had breakfast with my dad and Caroline, then to the baby shower. Ah, I remember being pregnant and my own baby shower. I can't believe how forever ago that was and now Stephanie is going through the same thing. Incredible! She's going to be an amazing mom.
With my new found singleness, I plan on focusing my attention to other things instead of my lack of relationship. I know I want to spend more time with my parents, Caroline, and friends, especially my best friend. I know for these past couple years I've neglected them because I spent the majority of my time with Caroline's dad. Basically I just need a new focus.
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. My first time alone for this couples holiday since 2009. Ugh, like a typical single person who longs for a relationship this holiday blows.
